Philosophy
I apply the same principles I appreciate in Japandi design to the way I build software: remove what is unnecessary, make every element useful, and create experiences that feel clear and balanced.
I keep interfaces and code focused on what genuinely matters.
Every feature should solve a real problem and provide clear value.
I balance functionality, maintainability, performance, accessibility, and visual design.
I treat every project as an opportunity to learn, experiment, and improve.
In code these turn into ordinary habits rather than slogans. Simplicity is KISS and YAGNI: build the straightforward thing that is actually needed, and leave out the abstraction that might be needed one day. Purpose is what stops a feature from existing only because it was possible. Balance is where DRY lives — shared design tokens and small focused functions, while leaving harmless duplication alone when removing it would hurt readability. Continuous improvement is where SOLID and GRASP earn their place: one clear responsibility per function, each one handed only the data it needs, so the next change stays cheap. This site is built that way too.

Japandi Dev is my anonymous personal space for sharing applications, experiments, and ideas created through code.
The name reflects my appreciation for Japandi design—a combination of Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian warmth, balance, and functionality.
I try to bring those same qualities into every project: clear structure, purposeful features, thoughtful details, and as little unnecessary complexity as possible.
